Hello! We love renting DVC points. We have a person we use for Poly and another for Beach Club and are planning a split stay for next June. I know these can both be hard to get, even at 11 mos. Which one should I prioritize in terms of difficulty getting? I THINK it would be Beach Club. I feel like Poly will have more flexibility with the new towers, but I wasn't sure if that might make more people want to go there? Any thoughts?

I assume since you're talking about Poly, you are renting studios? Seems like for June, either resort would be available at the 11 month mark, as that doesn't tend to be as crazy busy as other times of the year. Something to keep in mind, in case you missed it - Stormalong Bay, the big pool at Beach Club, is scheduled to be closed Jan through June of 2025 for refurb. You might get lucky with it being open early in June, but you never know. In case the big pool is important to you......

Hey! Thank you. Yes, we are renting a studio. We will be mid-June, so I'm hopeful Stormalong Bay will be open. I had read through the end of May, so thank you for this update (and sorry for not responding! I thought I hit post but I guess I did not)

BCV will likely fill faster than Poly. In mid-June, BCV is usually gone before 7-months out even when there is no refurb going on, and although it does not have an extreme 11-month issue where studios fill right at 11-months out, you should plan to reserve there about 11 months out to be safe.

Poly in the past has usually been open even at 7-months out for mid-June, but the unknown there is what impact adding the new Poly tower will have on reservations, but you will be probably safe reserving even a little past 11-months out. However, one should not assume its addition will make Poly1 easier to book. There is no points chart yet for Poly2 and it could make Poly1 even harder to get than before if Poly2 makes most of its studios require more points than Poly1, in which case many of the new purchasers of Poly2 will likely try to reserve studios in Poly1 and most Poly1 owners will not try for Poly2.
