We will be staying in the villas in a standard view from 9/19-9/27 (4 of us). Any recommendations on which long house we should ask for? We want a 1st floor without a construction or parking lot view.

moorea or pago pago - the 1st floor is the more requested - so don't be too disappointed if you can't get one - they do have elevators

Same! More Info please!

I hear standard view in the Moorea is the "quietest and decent view" rooms.

Pago Pago standard facing Moorea too is the quietest tho but you could face the parking lot if you are on the other side!

Avoid Tokelau rooms as you could still face the lake (yes views!) with standard however the ferry horn every few minutes is annoying + east pool construction!

My pick when I go next month: Moorea standard view, upper floor. (You walk around the building and you're on the beach!)

Second choice: Pago Pago but facing Moorea - not the parking lot.

If I get a free upgrade for lakeview - fine, I'll take it but I bet I'll slightly regret it with the ferry horn waking me up at 6am hahaha

The ferry horn is not that bad. We have stayed in Moorea twice before it became DVC and we were close to end near the ferry dock and the horn didn't bother us whatsoever. Don't let that scare you. It was great to be walking distance to the TTC as well. We will be staying in Moorea again as DVC members in November and are expecting a wonderful stay once again.
