Hi everyone!

I have the Poly booked for July 2008. I am so excited! Based on posts here I requested Tokelau because I have reserved a garden view.

We will be spending a lot of time enjoying the resort. I have heard wonderful things about all the buildings at the Poly.

I looked into pricing on a lagoon view and its a few hundred more. Is it worth the upgrade?

Congragulations and as for you're question if the Lagoon View is worth more, it depends on the person. Some people might say yes it's worth the extra $, where as others might not think it's worth it.

Jean,
Check out my thread with pics from a garden view room in Tokelau, it really was beautiful!
I was planning to book lagoon view or MK view for our next stay, Just to try something different. But garden view was really nice too!

We had a garden view room in Tokelau, and could sit on our balcony and see the castle and the fireworks. We were in 1901. Our view looking straight out was of the quiet pool and lush landscaping. If I knew how to post pics I would!) We were in the room a fair amount of time due to much rain while we were there and never tired of the view. I don't think for us spending more would have been worth it. We were more than satisfied with our room.

We have never paid extra for a view and we absolutely LOVE our stays at the Poly. When we go on vacation we also spend lots of time enjoying the resort and I have never found myself wishing that I had paid for a better view. My favorite 'view' was when we could look out the window and see the monorail going by. Another time we could look out our balcony and see the fireworks. All that being said, we may just not know what we are missing..:confused3 .but like I said, we have always adored our stay at the Poly with our standard view;) . HTH!

I enjoy a nice garden view and the garden views at the Poly are gorgeous. It is not worth it to me to have a Lagoon view if the garden view is so nice.

If you are still interested in a Lagoon view, but do not want to pay for the upgrade, then you should consider requesting Fiji. The side that faces the Marina is still considered garden view and offers terrific sidelong views of the Lagoon.

I have stayed in Tokelau before and that is a great choice! My room faced the quiet pool and even had a side view of the Castle.
