Just got back from an 8 day stay at the World and did a split stay at BLT/Poly. Loved Poly but agree about with people about the "empty space" in the second bathroom is mindboggling. On top of that I noticed a drop of of reglazing paint and a whole drip line on the tub in that bathroom. Upon closer inspection, it was a definite reglaze of an older tub instead of a brand new one. Is this true of the entire report or just the one room in Moorea?

I've seen another picture where the reglazing was popping or flaking off of the tub so my assumption is they were all done that way unless there was a reason they needed to get a new tub. It is an assumption though.

If you remember your room number, could you contact DVC member satisfaction?

Everything was completely gutted for these longhouses. These are supposed to be all new tubs.
As KAT4DISNEY mentions, there are a reports of a couple reglazed tubs. Including one which was terribly done. It's believed the contractor tried to pull a fast one on Disney. Contacting member satisfaction with your room # will help them specifically identify where they need to go after the contractor.

Also, it doesn't hurt to mention to member satisfaction about the wasted space in the bathroom. A couple people are indicating that Disney has started a survey to identify problems with PVB decisions. It sounds like they are considering adding a washer/dryer, points too high, view definitions, point requirements for the bungalows, and people unhappy that a resort opens and has to deal 9-15 months of construction between the longhouses and the lobby.

The more the hear from members about the problems, the more likely it is they fix it. Additionally, the more likely it is that they do not do the same thing at future resorts. It seems they realize the Poly construction schedule was terribly done. At WL, it seems they are working on the common area enhancements first so that people will not have to deal with construction long after the WL expansion opens.

I have my room number alright. I'll send an email to that team. Was really weird. The only reason I noticed it was because we just got our bathroom reglazed and it looks amazing, except for one spot near the floor where the missed. When I say a drop, I first thought it was water from our bathing suits hanging on the rod above, when it didn't wipe off and I noticed it was hard, that's when I took a closer look at the whole tub.

I participated in the survey and there was no mention of view definitions or construction....just an FYI....

Thanks Ben.

My apologies for misunderstanding. Now that I re-read you didn't mention view categories.

I participated in a DVC survey today about the Poly...seemed to be a survey figuring out why people aren't buying there. Raised issues that have been raised here so I thought I'd mention it. Talked about the point cost of Bungalows....point cost of studios (interestingly, worded it as if people were concerned the studios point cost was too much)....lack of 1BR/2BR....they mentioned Washer Dryer in the studios multiple times (which I found interesting)...they mentioned negative talk about the Poly DVC construction. Basically it was a long survey that tried to find the priority of each of these things for people and how much of a hindrance it might be to purchase....
