Poly Transportation

Hi! I have a dumb question to ask, but I will ask anyway. I was reading about the poly monorail, but wasn't sure if the Poly has bus transportation too. I am assuming it does have both but you know what happens when you assume ! I know this is kind of dumb but I haven't been to DW in about 8 years and when I was there I stayed at Dixie Landings and was about 13 years old! Thanks for any responses to my silly question

There is bus service to AK, MGM, the water parks, and Downtown Disney from the Poly. The Poly shares a bus route with the Contemporary and the GF.

There is also boat service from the Poly to the Magic Kingdom.

TLinden 16 is right, and at least until 1985 or so the Poly also had one more option: a boat to Ft Wilderness!

Yet even w/out that option it truly is the resort with the most transportation options.

That is great! I just wasn't sure, I can't wait to stay at Poly but now I'm debating to stay at AKL

The Polynesian has bus service that is generally shared with the Contemporary only. Typically, the bus will go directly from the Polynesian to the theme park.

Anyone ever get a taxi to MGM or AKL? If so, how much did it cost? Thanks.
