Poly tour

We are staying at BCV on points now & had a voice mail from our new guide telling us DVC members staying on points this week could tour the Poly studios & bungalows each day this week from 2-4. We took the tour today with 10 other members. The bungalows are gorgeous. So glad we made time for this.

The guides get a list of members staying on reservations. Some call and say hi, others don't take the time. Now apparently they are inviting us to tour PVB in the hopes of selling add-on contracts.

do you have to make an appointment I assume? We cannot just "show up"?

Since I live nearby, Pmaurer74, I have done that Poly model tour a good while back. My understanding is that members just need to show up at the Poly lobby DVC kiosk on the half hour between the time frame Hopefully mentions above. You don't need an appointment at all but they only offer it at those times. It seems a lot of those CM's that work the DVC kiosks try to talk members into booking a "tour" to see models. I do know this, unless you are wanting to add on points to your membership, you do NOT need to book a tour, so beware. I've had them try to book me and my family for a tour when I told them I had no interest in adding onto my membership.

I just showed up in Sept. It happened to be just a minute or two before they took the group over to tour so no appointment needed.

Yep - one of our two cardigan corgi's.
