Poly Torches?

This may be a silly question, but ... I have never been to the Poly and we have reservations for the week after Thanksgiving. I was just wondering because I have a very fast 2 yr old who is not the best at holding hands and walking with you, how high are the torches? For safety reasons I was wondering. She will probably be in the stroller a good deal of the time but I didn't know whether there was a chance of possibly getting burned.

As a mother I tend to worry about all kinds of crazy things. I am sure it will be just fine and I really do look so forward to staying there, but if someone can put my mind to rest I would appreciate it.

Also, I have heard of other posters complaining about a gas smell regarding the torches. Has anybody else ever been bothered by that.

You guys know all the facts, thanks in advance.

Hi Jackie. The torches should not present a problem for your little one. They are quite tall. In fact they are taller than my 6'4" dh!!! Yes, there can be a little odor from them but it wasn't all that noticable after they had been lit for a bit. Never bothered us in the least!

The Torches have to be at least 6 foot tall.. Im sure Tikiman has the exact height!! ;)

They are metal, so they cannot come crashing down, if your worried. They are pretty safe...

They are at least 12 foot high, and the odor is a reminder that we're at the Poly, we like the smell.
