Poly to P&Pals check-in

We are supposed to check in at the Contemporary for P&P cruise at 7:45 (9:00 HEA). We are really ok if the kids don’t have a full hour of dessert-eating but don’t want to miss out on photos and other fun.

What time should we be at Poly monorail for trip to Contemporary? Is it 3 stops away in that direction? Is being at monorail at 7:30 too late? Group is 5 adults plus 3 kids who are good walkers.

It will take a few minutes to walk from the monorail down to the room where the dessert and snacks are. Also, people line up for pictures with Smee and Hook as soon as you get into the room. I would really try to get there before 7:45. The time we had before the boat ride was fun, you don't want to miss it.

I would be at the monorail by 7:15 at the latest. I also think you are riding all the way around if going from poly to contemporary - stopping at GF and MK, so those stops will take time.

When we did it in November, I think we got to the contemporary by 7:15. We went in the shops and wandered around. They had a cute scavenger hunt/quiz if you arrived at pirates and pals before they opened the room.

I also forgot to mention that there is plenty of space in the area outside the "party" room, so you'll be comfortable while you wait. It is the conference space, so there are a couple of couches, a lot of open space - and not a lot of people. There is also a large restroom way down the hall, which they will strongly encourage you to use before heading to the boat.
