Poly to HDDR ?

What is the best route from the Polynesian to the Hoop Dee Doo Review in Fort Wilderness? We have an ADR for the 7:15 show. What time should we leave the Poly to get there in time for dinner?
I have read on the threads that there often are buses waiting at Pioneer Hall after dinner to take guests back to their hotels. Is this still the case? Will there be a bus for the Poly or what is the best route back.

From the Poly you need to first get to the MK either by boat or monorail. Once at MK you can then take a boat from MK to FW. From the FW dock to Pioneer Hall it is about a 5 minute walk. I would allow at least an hour for the trip. If you are early you cvan relax in a rocking chair on the porch area near Pioneed Hall.

As for getting back to the Poly. I have heard that buses do run back to the hotels after the shows.

You also have a couple of other options.

Take the boat back to the MK (if it is still runnning) and then boat or monorail back to Poly or take a boat to the CR and then monorail to the Poly. The boat to CR runs until about 10 or 11. I personally prefer the boat routes as I feel it is much more relaxing than piling in to a bus. Also, if I wanted to take a bus I could stay home and go to work

I drive about 100 miles a day to work, round trip, so I don't really share your bus discomfort. That said, I still want the easiest and fastest route between point A and point B. On this trip I will be with DS, DIL and DGD, DGS who are only 3 and 5. It may be close to bedtime, so the easiest route to the Poly after the Hoop dee Doo will be great.
Any other opinions?
