Poly to Contemporary?

This question may have been asked, but I cannot find the answer. We are staying at the Poly and have reservations at Chef Mickey for 7:30 a.m. Can we take the monorial or a bus? I read that transporation starts one hour before park opening, does that include resorts too?

You can take the resort monorail, which starts running around 7 AM. It will stop at Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, and then the Contemporary for Chef Mickey. Give it approx 15 minutes (depending on how long you have to wait for monorail).

Be sure to get out to the monorail stop just before 7. That is usually the first run of the morning. You have a terrific chance of getting to sit up front at that time. We did the exact same thing as you....7:30 seating at CM's, from the Polynesian...the entire monorail was empty!!! It was so much fun to just sit and chat with the pilot and see it all from the front car!!!

Thanks for the info! That sounds like a lot fun - Our boys would enjoy that!
