I hope you Poly lovers can help me out on this. In what buildings are the themepark views at the Poly? And for those of you who have stayed in a themepark view - was it worth the price? Thanks in advance.

This was our view from Hawaii in Nov. of 2006. We had 2 rooms on the third floor right about in the center of the building (I forget the room #'s). My DS15 and I thought the view was amazing. I thought it was worth the extra money. You could hear music from the MK and see the fireworks at night. I loved it!

Here is a link to the resort map - http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/polymap.htm .

It looks like Hawaii, Tuvalu, and Tahiti have the best views of MK. Never stayed at the Poly but it is one my goals to stay there sometime before I'm too old to travel.

One thing to note, the Hawaii building is the concierge building, so not only would you pay for the lagoon view, but it is more because of the concierge level.

We have stayed in Tahiti many times with the MK view rooms. It is a great view during the day-you can see smoke coming from the trains around the park and watch the ferry crowds roll on and off the boats. The best part is the view at night for Wishes and other fireworks shows. Its awesome to sit and watch the view from your balcony or porch depending on which floor your on.

We are usually back in the room by 8 or 9 PM, so we can catch the fireworks. I suppose if you like to be at the MK for the fireworks presentations, then the extra money for the view is not necessary since you will not be there.

So if you like to spend time during the day in the room and have young children that you like to bring back to the room early at night, it may be beneficial. There would be no lines or crowds to fight after the fireworks show. :thumbsup2 and you can go right to bed.

This is true and next time I think I would opt for Tahiti without the concierge. It was nice but I'd rather pay for the view. I don't really need the concierge.

We booked "Lagoon View" and I requested 3rd floor.

We were put in Tahiti on the 3rd floor and had an amazing view of the castle and could see and hear Wishes from our bed. It was during MVCCP so there were extra fireworks as well. It was awesome!
