Poly studio lake view recommendations please

So if you were to go again would you request a LV bc the view the nice or a standard so that you're not as removed?

Hi Mousymomma. Are the standard view buildings closer to the "main" Poly building? I am not aware if they are since I knew I was booking
a LV so didn't look into other info. regarding standard. I can tell you that I go each year for a girls trip with my mom and she wants to
try the Poly, even though I told her she may not like since she loves the GFVs and BWVs. It was just very meh for me and I am all about Disney and
maybe I built it up so much since I have always wanted to stay there. That being said, when I go to try to book at 7 months out
for next September, I will book a LV. I do not plan on going during Free Dining or F&W so hope that if I do not get my request of a high floor,
they will move me. I would be unhappy if I had floors 1-2. I only want third floor and being at the end of the building isn't so ideal for me either.
So, if I was going on my own, I would book Standard. If my dh and older kids wanted to go, I would tell them they could decide but probably
sway them towards Standard, although I would first have to look how many points difference it is for a week. Do you know offhand?
When I go with my mom next Sept. I am going to try to book LV.

Sorry, if I confused you more LOL

From what I've read and seen on the Map tokelau (a standard longhouse) puts you closer to to the main buildings and seems to be a good location. Some have complained that Moorea is isolated, although a bonus for that location is that it's close the TTC and has the obvious front row view for the fireworks. Pago Pago seems to be the wild card of the longhouses since it's also a standard building but you could end up with a parking lot view. The difference in points BTWN LV to std seems to vary depending on when you're going. I checked David's and in Sept. 2016 a Fri-Fri had a 30 pt diff. While in Oct 2016 a Fri-Fri reservation had a 23 point difference.

And no confusion here, I appreciate your input!

Thank you. So, for 30 extra points for the week or if you are renting from David's at approx. $15 per point, would be about for you if you rent $75 extra a night.
For me with points, I would just do the LV. I am fit and don't mind walking but I was surprised I cared that Moreno was so far removed. I did like the fact
TTC is right there but that is not a reason for me to book. If you are going to book and your first time, I would book LV and request high floor.
You won't know unless you try it and it seems you do want to stay there. There is a little beach to the left of Moreno when you are facing the lagoon
so if you have little kids, it would be good if they wanted to play in the sand.

Have fun!
