Poly Standard Studio at 11 months end of October

Hi.
I want to reserve two Poly standard studios at 11 months for three nights, beginning October 30, 2020.
I will be getting points transferred in for this transaction so I can book them at 11 months.
However, I will need to call MS to do this since the points will have been transferred into my account.
I know each year is different, and I looked at the charts showing it should be available at 11 months, but
waiting an extra hour to call in, I'm wondering if that is going to be a big problem, with the time of year
I want to book.

Does anyone have past experience with booking Poly end of October at 11 months but calling into MS not doing online?
Should I get enough points for LV, which is sometimes easier to get? I would hate to spend the extra money if we really didn't need to do so.

You'll be fine. The only time Poly goes straight to ohnos is early December.

Thank you. I was thisclose to wondering if I should get the transfer in for the LV but thinking I will keep as is and get enough points for a standard view. I am guessing there are more Standard studios but they would go faster since less points. Just the fact that I am calling in an hour after everyone else had me worried.

I'll just add one person onto each ressie not to have to waste time and modify at a later time.

First 2 weeks of December are the absolute craziest for DVC bookings. Cheap points, nice weather, Christmas decorations, etc.

That hour will make no difference. I've only seen value studios go at the 11 month mark.

ok so just in general. Not PVB specific.

Based on historical PVB bookings, you will have no issue reserving standard or a lake view studio at 11 months out for end of October, whether you do it online or call. Moreover, your thought to to get more points for lake view is incorrect. There are a lot fewer PVB lake view studios than standard and they often book full before the standards.
