Poly Self-Parking - where is it located?

Hi! We are staying at the Poly in June - our first time there. We stay on property often and have driven past the front of the Poly but I cannot picture where self-parking is located.

I went to Tikiman's site but I couldn't find any info on that - alot of other great info though that I can use!

I love reading the boards and I know someone will be able to answer my question.

It is directly across from the entramce. A couple of rows are valet and the rest is self-park. The Poly has a very good lobby to parking distace ratio. Possibly the best for a deluxe.

You couldn't find this map right at the top of the page? See there are two parking lots and they are very close. You never have to walk far.

Hope the map helped. I hate parking at many of the other resorts but I never feel I have to walk far when self parking at the Polynesian.

We just returned from 8 nights at the Poly (got back Sunday and I'm still in a depressed funk...) Anyway, we had a rental SUV and the parking couldn't have been easier. We were in Tokelau, so we always chose to park right by the bus stop; the walkway went right to our building. We couldn't believe how empty the self-parking lots were, but then again we weren't there at a horribly busy time. You'll be very pleased with the Polynesian parking lot!!

KatielovesMickey, you MUST have gone at a slow time. We go for spring break and in summertime and always go to the Poly for some meals, lunches and dinners. It's always nearly impossible to find a spot at dinnertime! Last trip my hubby dropped us off (so I could go up to Kona Cafe to check in) and he said he circled the lot a LOT of times before finding a spot. When we are with my Mom, she has a HC tag and even THESE spots are hard to come by.

I think the Poly has some parking issues because so many folks (like us) visit regularly to go to the great restaurants.

Shan, just leave a few extra minutes to look for parking if need be. If worse comes to worse you could always shell out for valet, but my hubby is for some reason valet-shy. He always parks himself. We have always found a spot but sometimes it takes a bit of circling.
