Poly room request with friends

We are going with friends in Sept. We all rented points from a dvc owner. We prefer to stay near each other, but I also would prefer a room in the tokelau building. Would our best bet to be to each request that building or request to be near each other? We are checking in a day after everyone else.

I'm not familiar with DVC booking. When we book we have our reservations linked as traveling together. We don't need connecting rooms, just happy to have rooms in the same building. We also have the same requests.
It may help to fax Poly room assignor and include all parties reservations #s on fax stating you'd like rooms in the same building.
It would also help since your friends will be there a day ahead to ask them to stop at the front desk and also ask.
When we stayed at Poly, my friend & I were on same floor. Our last GF stay we were in same building but different floors, which was ok too. Better than the time before when they put us in opposite ends of the resort!

You should make your requests through the DVC owner that you rented points from.

I would prioritize. If you want connecting, that's going to depend on what rooms are open for your check-in dates. Same building might be easier.

Request both. "Tokelau near (insert name of other party here)". If you want connecting rooms, use the term, "connecting". "Adjoining" meaning next to or "Near" meaning somewhere close by.

You'll need the member to add "traveling with" to your reservation with the reservation number of your friend. They need to get the same added to their reservation. With the one day difference in arrival, it will make it more difficult to arrange.
