Poly room locations

I’ve been fortunate enough to get to stay at the Poly this year. I have eaten in their restaurants many times, but never stayed at the resort. I have a garden view room reserved. Prior to my arrival, I want to fax my room request. I understand the request is not guaranteed, but I want to try anyway. I would like to be close to the GCH and near a pool for the kids, but don’t want to end up with a garden view of a parking lot. I also want to try for a room on the first floor. Which building in the Poly would meet my needs? Thanks.

Unfortuantely, someone has to get the parking lot view rooms. With the relocation of people from the moderate resort that is closing for rehab, I think they will put those people that are paying "moderate" resort rates in those rooms rather than those that are paying $300+ rack rate or even the current code rates for the deluxes.

We stayed in Roratonga - close to GCH and volcano pool on one end, and arcade and quiet pool on other end. Also close to laundry room. We had first floor garden view with a lovely patio. We had a lovely view of the garden/foliage and the monorail whizzing by. You can't really see the parking lot through the trees! At night, the torches are lit and it is beautiful.

We stayed in tokelau and loved the location. There is no parking lot view and the building is completely non smoking which we needed. It was a short walk to everything. We would have like the location of Nieu better, but is was closed. Have fun!
