Poly refurb/availability

Previously poly was showing no availability most of May and June due to a refurb. Now it appears to have full availability again. Does anyone know what is going on? Is the refurb not happening anymore?

Refurbishment is on cash hotel rooms, not DVC rooms. Probably just glitches with the website.

I thought DVC rooms were getting a soft goods refurb?

They're starting soft goods but haven't announced a date.

It's not completely unusual when refurbs are scheduled for things to get moved around. When DVC decided to move it up they also might have blocked everything off until a schedule was established and now they've been able to release some inventory.

Is there some place to check for updated refurb schedules?

They tend to announce that at the annual meetings every December but it also ends up subject to change. 2021 soft goods refurbs were announced for Aulani, VGF and PVB and for BCV in 2022. Full refurbs were announced to start in 2022 for BRV and HHI. And SSR is currently getting a full refurb. They just give the years and sometimes the expected season they'll start but actual dates only come much closer in or else when a wall goes up and guests see the work starting.

Interesting! I noticed the same thing yesterday that Poly was unavailable for weeks on same dates. I thought it odd to be full this far out at that time of year. Now I also see full availability.

Have all three DVC longhouses been open? I thought I remember soft bookings and only Tokelau and Moorea open.

Check in is at Pago Pago. All three have been open.
