Poly Pool...

Just soliciting a few opinions here and maybe a description or two.

DH and I are staying at Beach Club (DVC) and we thought about pool hopping at the Poly. Is it all that nice? I haven't read any descriptions or seen any photos so I don't even know if it would be worth the trouble. We will let DD play at the Darling's Nursery (children's program at the Poly).

Never heard of the Darling's Nursery but the Polynesian has the neverland club. Other kid activities run by the staff are for Polynesian Resort guests only but Neverland club is for anyone who pays for it.

We thought the Volcano Pool was okay but nothing really special. I would think that Stormalong Bay would be much nicer and you wouldn't have to hike over to the Polynesian.

On another note...kids can use the Neverland Club during the day, but they have to be accompanied by their parents. If you were planning on going over late in the day then your kids can stay there but the charge is $10 hr.

I would just stay at the pool at BC.

the main pool - Volanco stays very busy - I would go look before you have your swimming suits to pool hop

SALB is going through rehab at the time. the entire pool won't be closed - just parts of it.

DVC members can pool hop.

I really enjoyed the Volcano pool but we only went there at night because it was WAY too crowded during the day and we went in September. SAB was okay, but I didn't think it was everything it has been hyped up to be. The sand in the sand bottom part is v. course and not like beach sand at all, and the enterance to the slide is all the way on the other side of the pool so it doesn't make it practical to go on multiple times.
