Poly pool making me consider CR

We stayed at the poly a few years back and found the pool smaller then I thought it would be. We just stayed at the CR for two nights and loved it. The pool seemed bigger there to me. My dh and kids want to try the poly again next trip. My concern is we are going at march break. With the quiet pool maybe closed still how cramped will the poly pool be?? Is it that much smaller then the CR?

From what I have read the Poly pool seems a lot less busy, as the splash area is a bit away from it, and many of the small kids go there.

The pool is still the same size, even though it has been recently rehabbed. It now has a fence around it, which will discourage some pool hoppers from using it. If they assign CMs to the gates to check MBs like they do at SAB, this could help to alleviate the crowded feeling even more. During very busy times, it's definitely a possibility that they will do this. However, there's no way for any of us to predict how crowded the pool will feel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Poly if that's where I wanted to be.
