Poly points on sale next week!

If the first occupancy is April, how or when can the rooms be booked? Will they block current members from staying there? How did it work with VGF. I am going in May and staying at BLT but would consider trying out the new resort if it was available. Any thoughts?

When the VGF came into play, existing members were given a prebuy period, just like what will happen with Poly. Those who did prebuy were able to book then as well. new members were able to buy late may-ish (I remember my guide called on Memorial Day telling me I could buy - new member) I was first able to book at 9am on Sunday, June 23rd. It was originally supposed to be the 19th I think, but it got changed. S

So new members...3-4 weeks before they could book. But it was also claimed that there was a paperwork back up due to a high volume of purchases right out of the gate

So a 7 night stay in a waterfront bungalow will likely cost on average 1029 points? I just took the 147 and multiplied it by 7. Guess that would also mean that a 7 night Christmas stay is likely to be around 1500 points?

Oh my, I just looked at a Grand Villa at VGF and it's 1419 points for a week stay!

So, I've always given points a value of $10 per point (because that's what you can roughly rent them for, not sure if that's a fair or unfair number to use) which would mean a 7 night stay during Christmas time would be around $15,000!! Holy schnikees.

So a 6 night stay in a waterfront bungalow will likely cost on average 882 points? I just took the 147 and multiplied it by 6. Guess that would also mean that a 6 night Christmas stay is like to be over 1000 points?
If it does follow the VGF GVs then it'll be around 1150 for 6 nights over Christmas. It just depends on the exact 6 nights. If they are all in premier season then it would be more like 1226 for those 6 nights!
