Just back from a Poly weekend!

All of the room view photos are from Hawaii, room 3507.

Sadly, the last was our arrival day and little did we know the next week we would frequently see this sign. The one day it didn't rain, the volcano pool was closed due to a protein spill!

I have more, but will have to get to it later!

What was the reason that the pool was closed most days??? And secondly, can you elaborate on what a protein spill is exactly?

A child vomitted in the pool--too much swallowed water I guess.

The pool was closed due to weather related issues, i.e., lightning in the area. It's a pretty common occurrence in the wet season and the resorts get the pools opened as soon as the weather has cleared.

I feel so bad for anyone who was there this past week. A friend just got back and she was so dissapointed with the weather. I mean when you go to Florida you expect showers and the usual rain storms but not to go on and on for a week.

I've been enjoying these photos. My DH says he wants to go someplace other than WDW this year. I told him he would have to plan it. He hasn't made any plans yet so I have a reservation for a LVCL room for 7/29 to 8/5 "just in case".

Here's a shot from my last trip to the Poly with my oldest DD in Jan. We had lots of rain but this morning was perfect!
