Car Rental from WDW

We are looking to rent a car for the last couple of days while we are to WDW (staying on property) so we can go off property a bit. Where abouts is car rental location at WDW / how to get there / car rental company options?

The car care center is located near the south end of MK’s parking lot.



There you can rent cars from Alamo, Enterprise, and National. They also offer shuttle service around the bubble.

Most answers to this question mention the Car Care Center which has Alamo, National an Enterprise. They offer a free shuttle to/from your Disney resort if you call them.

Those aren't your only options though. Several of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd have car rental facilities as well, including Hertz and Avis. They are a short walk from Disney Springs.

I had a fabulous rental experience earlier in March. I picked up my rental from Alamo at the Jacksonville International Airport and drove it to the Dolphin. I simply pulled up to the front of the Dolphin, got out, and when I explained to a CM that I was dropping off a rental it was easy peasy from there. She came back with some paperwork, told me to get my stuff out of the car and leave the key fob in the car. That was seriously it. I was able to meet up with my friend and go on my way.

Granted I was a solo traveler and I had rented a small sedan, so no need for car seats or a big van or SUV. But, I found prices were comparable to other companies with the same rental scenario I needed and dropping off at Dolphin was awesome. Can't vouch for picking up at Dolphin, as I only dropped off, but I would definitely rent again at the Dolphin if I needed to.
