Thanks for adding us on the list. Our ending date has recently changed.

We have decided to stay two more nights/3 days at POP. We've never stayed there either. Looking forward to 10 days in our most favorite destination and home away from home. We will actually arrive in Orlando on the 7th....stay offsite, but use our AP's to go to MK that night.

August 8th - 16th

I have been up there in Shreveport-Bossier several times in the past for work(Viking Dr.).

You'd be surprised how many people from NY drive down! Many families (expecially the large ones) can't afford to fly, or choose not to spend the money on the travel part of their vacation. Some are AFRAID to fly (my dad will not go on any vacation that requires a flight, but will drive or sail just about anywhere). Others do it because they want to have their own car with them, or they simply enjoy the drive, so they make an adventure out of the trip.

I got my family hooked on the Poly in 2001, when I brought them to dinner at 'Ohana and we watched EWP and fireworks from the dock. Next time, DH insisted we stay there. It's been a love affair between us and the Poly ever since. Do I read this as you are going to WDW on July 29th, but not staying at the Poly? Thanks!

I know the feeling, sometimes I need to be hit over the head with a mallet. We just went in the fall of 2009, so It would probably be sometime is 2012 when we go next.

Congrats on paying it off soon, I wish I would have gotten the 40% deal I was a about a week shy of that deal, but I did get 25%ff, so that helps.

We'll be there the same time as you! As for codes, I never get them either BUT that doesn't stop me from calling and asking if they have one attached to me (or anyone else) in my family. Usually the answer is no but the last time I called I said I wanted to upgrade from ASMuFS to Poly but needed a code so was hoping we finally had one and the CM said let me see what I can do and viola, there happened to be a 40% off one for me. I'm not sure there really was one or if he was able to *find* one but I wasn't going to argue! We're also AP holders so worst case was I booked full price and just had to wait for AP rates and hope there was availability at that rate once they came out or do a little shuffling location wise.

This time we're hoping for a BB for Jan or we'll have to book rack rate and switch when the deals or AP rates are released.

Just check mousesavers.com look for public only codes or Disneys website and look under special offers and it will give it to you, during your stay there is 30%- 40% off stays 8/15/2010-10/2/2010

Have a great trip, just call and add it to your ressie, unless the one you have is better. Usually mousesavers or Disboards will give out code before Disney has it up on their site, that's been my experience.
