Poly or WL?

Hey everyone!

Well I though I had all me decisions made LOL..but I am so unsure now.

My question is...Is the Poly vs. the WL worth $500.00 difference in price. Poly is where I would love to stay...but booked the WL. Don't know after if I will be disappointed if I didn't pick the Poly. However, $500 is at least a few days of spending money....ahhh decisions.

Hey you only live once! If you have the chance to stay at the POLY do it! Its beautiful there and so nice to have the monorail. Cut back some where else.
You can sit in a hamock on the beach and watch MK fireworks its wonderful.

Oh one more thing. Its so nice for the kids there a zero clearence pool and not to mention if you are bringing a stroller you can just stroll it on the monorail.

I was in a very similar situation for my honeymoon July 4- July 10. I had the WL booked for $930 for the six nights.

When the new round of AP discounts came out, I was hoping the Poly would come down to $200 a night, which wasn't the case. The Poly is my dream resort, I am dying to stay there. Anyway, my fiance decided that we should just do it, after all it is our honeymoon. He didn't want me to be at the WL wishing I was staying at the Poly. So, with the AP code, I booked the Poly for July 5-July 10 for the $214 per night plus tax. Then, to save a little money, we booked the Pop Century using the old AP code for July 4 for $59 per night plus tax. The total came out to about
$300 more than the Wilderness Lodge.

Now, if this wouldn't have been my honeymoon, I probably would have stayed with the Wilderness Lodge and used the savings for some nice meals and souvenirs. Hope this helps.

Ok this is what I changed to:

Oct 29-30 at Pop Movie (rack rate)
Poly Garden View room (7/5 package)
Requested: Tokelau or Tahiti Buildings

$3,008.35 for 2 A & 2 C


My total before at the WL would have been
2 nights rack rate WL standard room
7/5 package WL woods view
$2,907.96

Since we would have to move rooms anyway if our entire stay was at the WL, I now have a place where I really wanted (POLY). Our passes don't start til the 31st anyway and we aren't arriving til late Friday night. So we have an open day on Saturday to do what we want! and at a cheaper price!
