Poly or WL?

I've booked two nights at Wilderness Lodge in May, but since it's such a short trip (and I don't want to waste precious time waiting for busses, etc.), I'm not sure if I shouldn't stay someplace on the monorail. The Poly is about $230 more. On the other hand, I like the look of WL better. I've never stayed at either, so it will be a new experience either way.

Any thoughts? For such a short trip, does it even matter? We'll probably be at MK most of the time, but might head over to Epcot.

Though I love the WL and chose that over the Poly for July, for just 2 nights, I'd probably pick the Poly. No doubt, going to Epcot will be easier staying there.

Having stayed at both Resorts I would choose the Polynesian. You will have the Monorail whenever you wanted to use it and if your going to Epcot it's an easy walk to the TTC, so you can get on the Epcot Monorail. Plus when you come back from Epcot you have the choice of walking back to the Poly, or taking the Resort Monorail just one stop if you did not feel like walking.

I've stayed at both and prefer the Polynesian for several reasons. I found Disney transportation to be much faster from the Poly. The monorail was just a lot faster to MK and Epcot then the boat or bus from WL. Both hotels are great though and there is nothing wrong with WL. You won't go wrong either way. But if it were me, I would stay at the Poly.

I'd also opt for the Poly. You have the monorail right there and you have very easy access to both MK and Epcot.

What a tough choice being they are both beautiful resorts; but having stayed at both, I think I would choose the Poly for the ease of the monorail
