Poly or GF for pre-park evening drinks?

Hi:

Which resort would be better for having a few (mommy and daddy) drinks (without kids), maybe a quick bite, before an MK evening?

We did Poly before and sat up in that bar area (do they serve any food?) and it was nice...

But I was thinking that we have never set foot inside GF and that might be cool... is there somewhere to sit and have a drink/snack, maybe a nice view? I'm not sure I want to sit outside, though it may be bearable at 5:30pm. Do any of the fancy restaurants have a bar? If so, do you have to be completely dressed up? Does the bar get crazy crowded?

I don't want to make a real dining reservation, since I am not positive what time we can get there (after a local wedding).

IMO the bar with the best view is the one at CR.

4th floor near chef mickeys. You have a beautiful view of bay lake.
