trying to decide breakfast-ohana's at the poly or chef mickeys? never been to either, i heard they are both good. just me and hubby so characters don't matter, just food quality! (i'm also gluten free), does one have more options over the other?

If it is food quality you are concerned with I would choose Kona Cafe. It would cost less too.

If it were me I would definitely do kona cafe. But if your looking for a buffet I prefer ohanas over chef mickeys. Ohanas is served family style and the service is great. Lilo and stich are the characters there along with Mickey,Minnie and Pluto. I'm not a fan of chef mickeys. It felt like I was is a school cafeteria. They do have a large selection to choose from but it was WAY too noisey. You could also look into the Trails End Buffett at the campground or the Wave at the contemporary resort. Both are non character breakfasts and both have a great breakfast buffet.

We've been to both many times and have had great experiences every visit at both places. Ohana is all you can eat with the food brought to your table vs having to go through a buffet line at Chef Mickeys (although Chef Mickeys has more variety, but I can't help with gluten free). With that said, I find Ohana to have a more relaxed (not as loud/crazy) atmosphere than Chef Mickeys.
