We stayed at Beach Club in October and loved it, but we are thinking of trying Poly for the first time. But my question is we were thinking about doing club level, what is the advantage of this and is it worth the extra cost. Also which would you choose out of the resorts too.

I would definitely try the Poly! These are two of our favorite resorts, but they are both completely different.

Some of the things I love about the Poly are:
-Quick access to the MK and TTC
-Monorail access to other monorail resorts
-Dining options (Kona- love love love it!, 'Ohana- trying for the first time in a week, but it is one of the most popular restaurants in WDW, Captain Cook's- one of the best deluxe QS restaurants.. they serve the famous Dole Whips!)
-Largest rooms on property
-Pretty much every room category has a great view!
-Strolling along the torchlit grounds at night
-That view of the castle/fireworks from a hammock on the beach at night
-The compact volcano pool
-...and much more!

I have never stayed club level at the Poly, so cannot give a lot of insight into whether or not theirs is worth it. We did get an upgrade to club level at the BWI, though, and thought it was a nice perk. Since we do not return a lot to our resort during the day, though, we did not find that we could take advantage of all of the food offerings. I personally do not think it is worth the $, but it can be nice if you think that you will truly take advantage of it and enjoy hanging in the lounge. I have read very good reviews of club level at the Poly and know that there is a nice view of the lagoon from the lounge, etc. I am sure others can provide you with stories about their experiences.

You don't mention what the big interest is for your family so its difficult for us to suggest something in this case. Will you have young children with you so you'll be spending more time in the MK? Or is it more adult?

Both are great resorts and you'll find the concierge services to be comparable between the two. Some will tell you the Poly concierge is better, but I've never been able to figure out what that's based on.

We love CL at the Poly. For us it's worth the extra $$. Good coffee, a quick breakfast, snacks during the day and evening and an amazing view from the lounge make the Poly Cl our favorite.

I can't help with Poly CL as we've only stayed GV at the Poly, but the Poly is our favorite between the 2 resorts :). We enjoyed our stay at the BC and it was great being within walking distance to Epcot and DHS, but the Poly is awesome with larger rooms, the volcano pool with a view of the castle off in the distance, and the beach for watching the fireworks :goodvibes. Plus since you've already stayed at the BC, I think the Poly would be a great resort to try. Good luck deciding and happy planning :wizard:.

I love both the Poly and BC! I haven't done CL at BC but I have at Poly and I would do it again. The location of the CL building is really great and I loved the view from the lounge. The CMs are very friendly and the evening offerings were tasty.

I would go with the Polynesian because in my opinion they have a better theme and atmosphere.

I have also stayed Club Level there back in December 2007 and I liked that their lounge was very big with a lot of tables and it's great knowing that in advance you will be in the Hawaii Longhouse.
