Have a 3 year old and a 5 year old . Have never stayed at either the Beach Club or the Polynesian. Having a hard time deciding between them for my land/sea in the spring.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks !!!!

With children that young I would pick the Poly because the Magic Kingdom will probably be their favorite park.

and decided to split my stay!

Best wishes, and good luck making your decision!

I would definately have to say the Poly. It is so convenient to hop on the monorail at the GCH to go to MK or to walk to the TTC and hop on the monorail to get to Epcot. The pool is awesome, you can watch the fireworks from the beach and the room are very large(it helps to have enough room for the kids to move around).
We stayed at the BC for 1 night and didn't care for it but the Poly is our favorite. I'm sure which ever you choose, you will enjoy yourselves. I just think the Poly is more convenient considering your kids ages.

I haven't stayed at the Poly but I loved the Beach Club! We stayed there two years ago and it was great! But the Poly is probably good too. have fun planning!

The Polynesian:cool: We have young kids and we love the convenience to the MK, which I assume would be the park you are going to spend most of your time at? I like how it's a small resort, it feels more intimate. You can also get food at Captain Cooks 24 hours a day. I also prefer the restaurants at the Polynesian:D As stated above you can't go wrong with either one. I would try to look at a bunch of pictures to see what theme you prefer:)

Stayed at the Poly last Nov and loved it. The Resort is convenient to everything and soo relaxing. DS was just turning 3 at the time. This year we are tryin the BC, so I,ll let you know.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

we definately prefer the BC, but with kidlets that young i would have to vote for the poly.
both are beautiful resorts, but the monorail to MK is perfect for younger children. (do take them to the BC or YC when they're older & would enjoy EPCOT more tho ~ these resorts are incredible!!)

I'm a big fan of the BC, but I'd go with the Poly based on the ages of your children.

Oh dear, you really have a tough choice! If the prices of the rooms were roughly the same, I would probably choose The Polynesian as it is so convenient to the MK (via monorail, boat launch or Ferry). It is also very convenient to catch the monorail to EPCOT from the Polynesian.

We really like the Beach Club, too as they have a most excellant pool and is very convenient to EPCOT (you can walk there in 5-10 mins) and MGM--(you can catch a boat launch or walk in about 10-15mins).

But as everyone else has said, with a 3 yr old and a 5 year old--you are probably going to want to go the MK the most. When we visited in August, we usually went to the MK first thing in the AM and then came back to our room around 1pm for our 3 year old niece to catch a nap each day. In the afternoon, we would go to another park or do another activity.

If you're only going to be there for 3 or 4 days, I also vote for the Poly. That's assuming you'll be concentrating on the parks. I love the Beach Club, but some of the benefits (like the great pool & quick access to the boardwalk) are more for non-park times.

Have a great trip!

We've stayed at both and much prefer the Poly. Bigger rooms, more relaxed feeling, monorail to Epcot or MK, ferry or launch to MK, 24 hour snack bar, more shopping options, Kona, beach to relax on as you watch the castle, fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant and very friendly CMs many of whom have been there for many years and have that old Disney magic.
