POLY..least expensive room category?

We really want to stay at the Poly next fall. It's not in our
budget to do so, we were planning on staying at one of the ]moderates. If we booked into the least expensive room category, what would be the room location, the views aren't that important to us, but being close to the main area and pool is.

The two room categories are Garden View and Lagoon View, with Garden View being the least expensive. There are also 2 concierge buildings- Hawaii (standard guest rooms) and Tonga (suites) There are two pools- the themed Volcano pool and the quiet pool. Take a look at Tikiman's website (www.tikiman2001.homestead.com ) for great maps and info on all the longhouses. Get an idea for where you might want to be garden view, but remember it is only a request. There are pluses to all locations. The entire resort is beautiful- the tropical theming/landscaping is everywhere. You'll love it!

We have been regulars at the Poly for years and it seems to be one of our favorite vacation spots. After so many stays I can say that the garden view rooms are just as wonderful as a lagoon view room. All the rooms are the same basically. We never seem to get much from the concierge service because we know so much about Disney ourselves. If you can swing a stay at the Poly in a garden view I am sure you will enjoy it one of the best locations is the Tokelau longhouse. when you check in just ask if they have any rooms located towards the end of that building closest to the beach. It is almost like getting a lagoon room at the price of a garden. I would sugest you view the fireworks from the beach there at least once it is just lovely. I think you should do that even if you don't stay at the Poly. Have a great trip and Pixie Dust for a good discount.
