I went to the one at SSR, it’s gorgeous. At DS the model is of a RIV room. There are models at the SSR preview center and maybe at the new DS center.
When I went, they were allowing members to tour between 12:30 - 1:30 without an appointment. Otherwise I think you have to go to the member update they are offering and then you can see the model. I walked in around 1 and one of the ladies at the desk took me right over.We aren’t interested in buying more points. Just looking. Therefore, do we still need an appointment?
Thanks,
Dee

Did you have to make an appointment with your guide? Whom did you make the appointment with?Make an appointment to go to SSR Preview Center. Two weeks ago we were able to get in for a quick tour without our guide and then we met with him a few days later. No pressure!
Oh, and they are gorgeous!!
We let our guide know we wanted to stop by on a certain day and he was fine with that. We stopped at the desk and they brought us over. We met with him another day and that was by appointment. Hope this helps.Did you have to make an appointment with your guide? Whom did you make the appointment with?
Thanks,
Dee
This was the first time where I found the member updates "pushy." It might've just been the particular presenter I saw, but it felt more "timeshare" than "DVC." So I'd recommend the 1230 to 130 hour as well. When I went, they were allowing members to tour between 12:30 - 1:30 without an appointment.
