Poly IPO office rocks!

We are staying at the POLY this December in their concierge building. Their IPO office immediately contacted me to plan my reservations and have already secured Cinderella's castle breakfast among other things. They are really responsive and helpful. Great so far!:cool1: :thumbsup2

Curious....Who are you working with at the Poly IPO?
 
I'm loving the help from the WL IPO...it's the same people for those 2 resorts, right?

What days are you staying at the Polynesian in December, also what day do you remeber making your reservation and when did their IPO office contact you? The reason I am asking is my family and have a reservation there in December from the 15-25 in a Garden View room and we were never contacted by them and we made this reservation back on February 6th. We did not plan to make any ADR's while we were there, it's just after reading that you will be there in December and they contacted you right away, it made me wonder why did they not contact us?

They did initially contact me with a questionaire and I responded. They then called me to get more info. We are staying at the Poly beginning on 12-14 also in a garden view room.

CR Resort Fan 4 Life, make sure you email them today as your six month window is this week. We will be there at the same time (My absolute favorite time to visit is December).:thumbsup2

Like I said before we don't like to make ADR's 6 months in advance and the only reason we would contact the Poly IPO is to make a request a half a grapefruit for my Mom, when she has breakfast. In the past when we have made this request to the Contemporary IPO it somehow never gets into the computers on the Atrium Club, so we think it's better to request this in person if the same problem would happen again at the Polynesian.

How did you book? Depending on if you book through a TA or on a package, sometimes you might not show up on their arrivals report at first. In those situations, just send the IPO office an e-mail so they know you're comming, and they will help you out :thumbsup2
 
I booked last night and this evening I received an email from Polynesian IPO! :sunny:

Now to decide where we want to dine so they can make the ADrs for us... :scratchin Definitely the Kona Cafe.... Where else?? LOL :scratchin So many excellent restaurants, so little time :hourglass

My Dad made the reservation threw CRO and it's a room only reservation.

We made our August reservation at the Atrium Club the same way we did our December reservation and the Contemporary IPO office sent us an e-mail the day before our ADR window for August had opened up.

I know the Poly IPO has recently started using a new e-mail routing system, so that could have something to do with the delay as well. I'd shoot them an e-mail, just so you can get your grapefruit request in if nothing else :)

Will think about sending them an e-mail about the grapefruit, however are the chances good the request would go threw to the Cast Members working in the Hawaii building? Like I said before when we have made this request to the Contemporary IPO it was never in the computers on the Atrium Club floor and this was after the IPO office called us a week before we were to arrive, asking if there was anything we needed. I know their IPO offices are completely different so I would laugh if they made that same mistake. Still it might be easier to make this request in person because that has always worked for us.

The IPO office will note it and then contact the lounge before your arrival to get it set up for you.
