thisnisnmy first time staying in the Hawaii building. Is there any special requests I should make ground floor, balcony, etc..... Or is every room a good location?
We prefer ground floor so that's what we requested when we were at the poly. It was really nice, had a back door that went to a small patio And the kids would use that entrance as a short cut lol
The Hawaii building is quite old. As such it has (had?) issues with the foundation. We had a lagoon view ground floor room near the end of the hall (second room in from the outer door) in mid-June. Heavy rain caused water to seep in through the floor. [CL CM did relocate us to a dry room and did sprinkle some pixie dust.]
Right now the East pool is a huge construction site. It's a horrible view. They would be the garden view rooms I believe. I'd ask to not view the construction.

If you selected a garden view room you will have a construction view, since all garden view face the old "quiet pool" area. You would need to have a MK/Castle or Lagoon view room to avoid viewing all of the construction.
Just curious when are they suppose to be finish with all the construction at the Poly ? Wanted to go next Sept with extended family and stay garden View club level ? TIA !!!
