Hello everyone!
My DH and I decided we wanted to try the Polynesian (conceirge) for our first family trip to Disney. Many resorts were equally appealing, but we like the POLY because of the monorail, as we will be traveling with a 2 year old. Our other children will be 11 and 10. If you've stayed at the POLY, what is your best suggestion for room location/building? We would like to have a view of the lagoon and Cinderella's Castle, but still be close to the pool. Do you think we need to get two rooms (adjoining)? Thanks!!

Hi. We stayed Poly concierge last Summer. It is very nice. You would need to request a lagoon view room which costs more. The view from the lounge is spectacular. The food offerings are great! I dont think you will need two rooms unless you just want the extra room . The room is large with two beds a day bed, plus all the other normal stuff and a small balcony with table and two chairs. Very nice. You will already be very close to the pool just in the concierge building. We had a garden view that looked out between the two pools. Even garden views are nice at the poly as the landscaping is nice and there are bunnies and ducks around.

Well, if you booked a concierge room you will be in Hawaii unless you booked a suite. If you booked lagoon view, you will have a great view of the castle.

Hawaii has a great location...both pools and one of the beaches are all right there and it is a short walk to the GCH.

The rooms are spacious and you won't need two rooms. We're a family of 5 too and have had many great stays there.
