Poly- Deluxe studio- Moana?

Hello!

I recently booked a room only reservation at Poly through an agent so I could secure a week in January at a decent rate while waiting for 2023 packages to be released. The agent called Disney to book it and the Disney rep said the deluxe studio was available and it was Moana themed. I asked specifically because I know we definitely want one of the Moana rooms. But I also thought that it was the hotel side that was renovated with Moana themed rooms and the studios are on the DVC side and just had updates but no Moana theme.

Does anyone know if the Disney rep is correct?

I don’t want to keep my reservation for the studio if it isn’t Moana themed and I will ask the agent to call them back. Just wanted to check with the more knowledgeable folks here

The DVC studios have Lilo & Stitch artwork.

I believe all rooms are Moana themed since the refurbishment. I may be wrong, hopefully someone else can answer. They are not in your face Moana, but done very tastefully. Just do a search of the room pictures. I think they are really nice.

The OP is booked in a deluxe studio. They have a subtle Lilo & Stitch theme, not Moana. The single Murphy bed has artwork that features Lilo and Stitch sleeping in a hammock. The artwork above the murphy style sofa bed features Stitch sitting on the beach and playing a ukulele. There is a nod to Moana in the curtains. You can view a tour of the Deluxe Studios here:

The hotel rooms are the ones that have the Moana theme. If the OP has their heart set on a Moana theme, they don't want a studio.

You are right! But I decided the extra shower and the kitchenette is worth keeping the studio.
