Hi,
I've just booked 5 nights beginning 1/27/08 in a lagoon view room at the club level. We've stayed at the Poly once before in a garden view room. Can anyone tell me who has stayed in both types of rooms, if they enjoyed their stay LVC that much more. Our family eats light and I mainly booked the club room for the convenience. I want this trip to be really relaxing...do you think staying in these accomodations will make a big difference?

Yes, we do.

I think you should enjoy your stay with the lagoon view and club, especially if your light eaters. We prefer looking at the castle and beach, rather than some tropical plants with the quiet pool in the background.

Our young kids love the lounge and the ability to get a little of this and a little of that with a drink. They like to sit a t the kids table in front of the TV and meet other kids. It is a simple way to break away from the crowds and not be back in your room.

We stayed garden view club level last October and we have stayed regular garden view many other times. Club level is so nice. We mainly used it for breakfast and coffee each morning. During one evening we happened to be at the Poly around 5pm, so we made a light dinner out of the appetizers offered. It was plenty for SIL and me. The cast members are VERY helpful. The lounge is great. I think you will love it.

I think it depends on you.

I would say the view isn't really worth the extra $$. You get the same extras in Garden View Conceirge...so I'd try to save some dough there.

As for food..I wouldn't count on the food as meals...sometimes its pretty light. Its a nice treat a nice extra, but I don't think of it as intended for meals.

Conceirge is very nice...the location of the building is great too.

I guess its a personal decision.

Cheers,
Josh

We got an upgrade to MK view CL when we went in July - had only stayed GV before. That view is priceless!!! The lounge was wonderful - definitely the best concierge I've ever had(didn't like AKL's). We made breakfast out of the lounge every day - grabbed a beer for by the pool - had heavy snacks on the evenings we were there - and got desserts for late night snacks to keep in the room.
I'd stay CL every time if I could afford it!

Thank you for the feedback!! It doesn't sound like we'll regret our choice! By the way, what kind of kid friendly food choices do they offer?
