Poly Concierge vs. AKL Concierge

I'm going back and forth between the two. Like the theme at both. Spend equal time at all parks. What do you see the pros and cons of both. Have stayed at AKL concierge and really like it. Have always wanted to stay at Poly but never have done so -- not quite sure what to do. Price is not an issue. It will be between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Cast of characters -- DS 7, DH(older), myself *young of course." This will be our 15th trip to WDW.

I guess I would say try the Poly Concierge since you've never done it but I love AKL Concierge so much (getting ready for my 4th concierge stay there next month)!! It's hard to beat!!

I recenetly stayed at Poly concierge but also did AKL last year. I love them both for different reasons. I thought the food service at AKL was a little fancier and the lounge is nicer. The Poly however, had a georgeous view and I loved the fact that the whole building was concierge. At AKL we were so far away and a floor down from the lounge it was actually inconvenient. If you do AKL rqst a room by the lounge. Two years ago we stayed AKL and I thought I room was much better (view wise) than whwn we stayed concierge. Our Poly room was lagoon view and lets just say it will be very hard to back to a moderate ever(we go several times a year). Sorry if this didn't help but I am not sure which I would choose.

I have doen AKL Conceirge andit was great, and it is Poly we want to do next, but AKL will take some beating.

I can only comment on POLY since we've never stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge. But in our opinion POLY would be tough to beat and we have no interest to stay anywhere else. The staff is wonderful, the setting is wonderful, the concierge lounge and food is wonderful. One thing that the POLY does have that Animal Kingdom Lodge doesn't is the monorail. It makes quite a difference.

I'd say if you've never tried POLY you need to try it at least one time and then you can be the judge of what works best for you.

I doubt we'll ever try anyplace else!

I had the same dilemma which is why we are staying a few days Poly Concierge at the beginning of our holiday and then three days at AKL Concierge at the end. Obviously I can't compare the two yet as I have not stayed at either but I have to say that the concierge staff at the planning office at AKL have been much quicker at replying to emails than the Poly concierge staff.

Having said that I am really looking forward to both stays, why not consider splitting your time between the two.
