Poly concierge question

I have been reading a few boards in the past couple of days and I keep seeing posts about disappointments with Concierge service. This concerns me but it appears that there might be some preventative measures I can take so I thought I would ask all of you for help.

We are doing concierge service at the poly for some pampering for our honeymoon. I want them to make the PS's for us etc. From talking to a couple of people they do an amazing job.

The problem - The disappointments I see all relate to ONE CM. Every complaint I have read has mentioned this particular CM by name and the fact that ALL or MOST of their tickets, PS's etc either didn't exist or were totally wrong.

I know I shouldn't worry about this but since it is our honeymoon we want everything to go smoothly. Can someone tell me is there only one CM who does the planning? Can I request to work with someone in particular or do you get assigned - IF and when they contact us if it is that particular CM can I ask for some one else?

Can anyone help me?

I have dealt with Tara/Aida through e-mail and they have been AWESOME. Last year I dealt with Melissa (I think that was) through e-mail only, and she was AWESOME. So, I guess maybe if you do everything on-line through e-mail you will be fine.

Uh Oh, Lillycat, I just read your post, I'm hoping that I'm right in the fact that my CM's this year are going to come through!! So far they have been so helpful and have gotton me pretty much everything I've asked for!! I was hoping that it was just a male CM!!

Thanks Lillycat for the PM. Eek, is there more than one. How does this happen. You would think Disney would fire anyone who did not do their job. Too many people wanting to fill their place I would think.

I agree which is why I didn't post the name - maybe this person was in training - or with all the hundreds of people who go thru there has to be some margin of error - it was just the same name popped up a few times - so that was why I would rather attempt to avoid the whole situation altogether

Lillykat - Congrats on your upcoming wedding. And thanks for all the info. Your honeymoon will be great I'm sure! I wish we had gone to WDW on our honeymoon, if I had only known......... Oh well, better late than never!!

Ohhhhh well THAT is what 2nd honeymoons are for ....lol

We are VERY excited about our trip - I have some extra time to plan now (I have graduated and moved out to MI to join my DFH who is in school now so we are on a TIGHT schedule because our wedding and honeymoon are falling into his 2 week break between his spring and summer semester of law school - he goes year round) and so I am still looking for a job So I want this trip to be extra special - not only is it our honeymoon - but he will be very stressed and needs a great relaxing vacation.

Now I just need to find a job to help pay for it!
