Poly Concierge making ADRs

How far inadvance should you give your TS selections to the concierge so they can book your ADRs? My 180 day mark is 3/23.
Also, does anyone have any good/bad experience having concierge book the ADRs?

If you are going during a busy time and have specific places where you want to eat, then I would book as soon as you can.

The Itinerary Planning office is who books your reservations - they are a separate department and are NOT the same people who work at the conceierge lounge. I always use them and it is great! You can make your reservations over the phone or through e-mail. Once they are made they send you an e-mail confirming your plans with a complete list which includes your reservation number. I would HIGHLY recommend taking that list with you when you go to your meals "just in case" and you will have your res. #.

I make my initial reservations by phone as I like to see what my time options are for meals. Once I get the confirmation e-mail then I can go back and forth with them and change/add/delete anything.

I have never had a bad experience...just give a check to your plans to make sure they wrote down the correct information. There were a couple of times where the meal time was off but they corrected it after a quick e-mail.

And once you get to your resort, the concierge staff can also make/change any reservation for you. Some days we make reservations in the morning for that evening.

We've stayed at AKL and BWI concierge, and both times they contacted us thru an email. Then you fill out the email with your ADR requests. We've also gone to the concierge for same day ADRs and they've gotten them for us.

We stayed Poly conceirage 2 times and had them book meals both times. I had one bad experience where someone booked my DS's birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's for September - we were going in November. By the time conceirage caught it, there were no available times and I had to really scramble to think of something. I would have them book them and then double-check -- never hurts to feel 100% comfortable.
