Poly Concierge ??? Before trip services??

Hmmm trying ot figure out how to word this.....

I know that the Poly Concierge sends out a pre-trip survey for those people who booked early.... what about last minute trips? We cant book until March 5th, so we may not get the Poly over Mother's day....... BUT in case we do........Once we book should we call them to assist us with some PS bookings and such. Or will they contact us? Is that how all Conciege levels work? (so if we dont get the Poly, we can try for CR, BC, or WL)

We are also celebrating our daughter's 3rd birthday(AKA a new paying WDW guest) and my 3rd Mother's day My husband and I would like to do something speical (but not crazy.... she is only 3! LOL) for our daughter and would like the help of the Conciege staff. We are thinking along the lines of balloons and a Disney birthday hat (do they exisit?)

If you book with the Polynesian at the Concierge level you will get a Personal Vacation Itinerary. Personal Vacation Itineraries are mailed out to the concierge level guests and guests with packages that receive itinerary planning. If you are one of these types of guests you still may not get one only because the Polynesian can only mail one to you if they have your address. Some reservations are made with out the address or phone number of the guests being given to the Polynesian. Reservations done by many wholesalers and sometimes Walt Disney Travel Company do not give out this information so that the confirmation slips can be mailed to them directly. Other times the travel agents computer does not interface well with the Polynesian's data base. These may be the reason you never receive a call or a Personal Vacation Itinerary. If you are a concierge guest you can -mail the Polynesian at wdw.polynesian.island.planning.office@disney.com.

Make sure you let them know about the birthday. They will usually have a cake and party favors sent to the room for free but there have been times that they forget to. You can email or call and tell them you want a cake and you can pay for one so you don’t have to count on the free one but so far they have never forgotten my birthday when I was there. The WDW florist also has many wonderful gift baskets you can get sent to the room with just about anything in them you can think of.

Steve! I knew you could help me.
I am counting the seconds until we can book.... I wont be able to sleep until then. We have never booked a trip on this short notice (gee is 2 1/2 months short notice! ) So I am a little paniced!

BTW, I was just about to send you a paypal donation when your site went back down again..... (can I do that before you get it back up again? I have marked March 4th on my calender!!!!

I think what your doing..... helping out all us Poly newbies is wonderful. You site is the best site on any hotel I have ever seen....... EVER! Your always first to answer questions......

We didn't have any birthdays to celebrate, but my DS and DD are 6 and 3 respectively, and we wanted to do a little something extra for them so we had a pixie gift sent to the hotel for our arrival. You can design your own gift basket and Cindy also can help you with some ideas. She's a little spendy ($60 per gift bag, min of $75 total purchase), but the kids were pleasantly surprised.
