Poly concerns

I can't get over how many wonderful responses I've gotten to my post. It seems like we made the right decision to book the Poly for our vacation. Everyone seems so positive about the resort and it seems like if there was any, mustiness or wear and tear in the rooms that the refurbishment is taking care of that.

Thank you all for your input. We are really looking forward to our trip.




PS. what is the difference between a hard rehab and a soft rehab?

We just came back from a wonderful 8 day stay at the poly concierge. We had a great Lv room, with an awsome view of the castle, space mt., CR, and GF!! Our room DID NOT smell, and the fridge worked great!! Before we left, I had read some bad reviews also! I decided to go ahead with my plans and stay there, and I am glad I did!! It was so nice and relaxing! The room was huge and the floor was dry. I did not see any of that mold some people were talking about!! We were in Tahiti rm# 3020!!

Hi,
We just returned Friday night from a seven night FTP stay in the Tahiti building with a LV. We were in room 3024 and it was a great view. The room did not seem to have the musty smell as we had read about other rooms having.When my husband knelt down to put drinks in the fridge he placed his hand on the floor to balance himself and he noticed the floor felt wet and his hand smelt like vomit We immediatly called housekeeping and someone came right away and cleaned the area. A couple of days later we noticed the smell again on the carpet just around the fridge and only when you got your face too close to the carpet so we just avoided that area of the carpet with our noses! We came to the conclusion that it was the fridge defrosting or something and not vomit so it didn't bother us. The room was quiet. The bed my husband and I slept in was not the most comfterable bed we have slept in but honestly we were so tired from the heat and all the walking that we didn't even notice until our last two nights that we could feel the springs through the top of the mattress The room was nice and spacious and housekeeping was great with keeping everything clean. Everyone we met was very friendly and we would like to return someday to the Poly.
