Poly and Scooter

Hi We are planning a trip to the Polyenesian and I rent a scooter for the time we are there. Although it says the sq ft of the room is quite large, from the pictures, it doesnt seem there there is much room for storing the scooter at night, let alone attempting to turn it around at any point. Is there an area closer to the Ceremonial House that has larger rooms...or are the pictures misleading me?

PS -Just got back from the Boardwalk Inn, Room 5290 (which was a standard room was HUGE! IT was like two rooms put togther!-just to FYI you guys)

The rooms in the CR and Poly are the largest standard rooms on property of any of the Resorts.

Although I have no experience with scooters, I can say the rooms at Poly are very large in Disney standards. Plenty of room for a scooter. The extra large rooms are in Tokelau, Tahiti, and Rapa Nui but these longhouses are also the furthest from the GCH. The pathways are lovely though and all the longhouses have elevators (except Niu? which is only 2 stories...but has a bridge that connects to Roratonga which has elevators thus giving the second floor of Nui access to an elevator)

I have never stayed at the BWI but have stayed at YC and I think the room layout is similar. Polynesian rooms are noticeably larger than YC if that gives you some reference.
