Okay, due to family circumstances :sad1: we are considering canceling our 9 day Western Caribbean cruise and staying in the country and going to my 'happy place' :cloud9: WDW! We stayed at the Poly last August for 9 days and it was terrific but too long for our youngest who's now 5. So, were thinking a week at the end of July. My hubby said 'Polynesian AGAIN???' Where else can we stay with 2 adults and children 12, 7 and 5? I am such a Poly fan!!! :cool1:

I would go to BC. That resort is awesome!!! There is so much to do! If you have nine days to go, I woul take all 9 and spread out some rest time for your little one. He will want to hang around the resort at SAB anyway and that would be relaxing for you all.

The closeness to Epcot and DHS is awesome. There are great snacks out by the pool and in the Marketplace(try the gelato). Breakfast at Cape May Cafe has wonderful food, great service, is not crowded so the characters have plenty of time to visit. You can also go see the activities in the evenings at the BW, take a ride in a water mouse or relax by the beach.

We will definitely be going back!!! We are DH, me, DS17, DD16, and DD16's BFF16. They all love it!!!!

We'll be at the Poly, from July 8-15. We did narrow our choices down, between Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Grand Floridian and Poly. We have a 9 year old ds and he was certainly more partial to Boardwalk and Poly. His decisions were based mainly on the pools, location and concierge offerings - I kid with him that he's a little snooty like his dad

Although we have stayed at the BWI, he hadn't tried their pool, yet and wanted to try it out. But, he ultimately went back to the Poly because 1)it's close to the monorail 2) MK and EPCOT are only a short ride away 3)he  the Volcano Pool and 4)he loves all the restaurants at the Poly.

We always get his opinion before booking a resort because he is a HUGE reason we go on vacation to the world :simba:

Try the Yacht and or Beach CLub! YC is more quiet, still totally for kids! We loved it...great location...I love Poly too....and this was jsut as nice...just no MK across the way!

We adore the Poly, too, but have decided to try something new this trip, because Disney has so many different experiences to offer.

This time we are doing WL, but you need room for 5, so your choices are a bit more limited. I think if we had another person we would have tried CR with MK view (which I have done but DH and kids haven't, it's awesome!), or BWI or YC. All of these are on our list to try in the future.

We loved the AKL....I know it seems 'far away' but it really did offer something so magical and the pool was amazing!

I'd vote for the BC. ;)

Seriously, this upcoming December will be our third stay at the Polynesian and we're thinking about doing something different after that. We're leaning towards the Beach Club because of how convenient it is to Epcot and MGM as we're beginning to spend more time at those parks.
