We will be staying at the POLY in June 2004. We normally stay at the Contempory with a Castle view. We have chosen the Poly as part of a land/sea cruise vacation. From what I understand because we booked a "package" I have little control over where my room is located. I am pretty sure that it will be a garden room and that it will be in the same building as all other guests that are cruising. All the luggage, for cruisers, is collected the night before they are to go to the ship. For obvious reasons it would be easier to put us all in the same bldg. My question is how should I go about requesting the best possible room? What things should I ask for? I know I would like a balcony do all the rooms have balconies? When should I do this? Any advice would be great!!!

No balconies on the 2nd floors just patio on the first and balconey on the third

Three of the longhouses including the one that they usually put the cruisers in have balconies on the second and third floor with an open patio on the first. These are longhouses Tahiti, Tokelau and Rapa Nui. Tahiti and Tokelau are twice the size of most of the longhouses.

Aloha

If you can, 5 days before you check in call the POLY direct. Request a balcony. Do it again as you check in. They will be happy to give you one if possible.
