What kind of food is at the Poly 2? I expect some Hawaian local food so I don't have to go all the way to Aulani just to get a malasada or a plate lunch.

There's a sit down and a quick serve where you can get traditional items like:
Kalua Pig
Lomi-Lomi salmon
Poi
Lau-Lau

Then of course there are popular plate lunch items like Korean BBQ, Adobo, Chicken Katsu, Loco Moco, Spam Musubi, rice and mac salad...

and then there is also a crack seed store and shave ice stand...

What else is there?

There was this plum candy from Hawaii, kind of reminded me of a Tootsie Pop, that my co-worker brought back. I'm gonna need some of that.

Sounds like a version of Li Hing Mui. The crack seed store will have that.

If they’re going to ruin the resort by building this thing, they better at least have decent poke…

Here's a sample Poly 2 Mickey Poke bowl with Milk tea and Boba:

If you want something at Poly 2, post it here. That's how they figure out what restaurants to build. ::yes::

Also, do you see the hidden Mickey in the Poke bowl?

All I want is a place to get spam musubi.

But seriously, PVB already has a lot of great restaurants, and the tower isn't really further away from GCH than the existing DVC rooms are, so I don't imagine they'll feel the need to build out a full compliment of restaurants (lounge/QS/TS/Signature). I imagine there will be a lounge and a signature --maybe a second QS if we're lucky.

It would be such a missed opportunity to build a tower in that location and NOT have signature rooftop dining, but the concept art suggests those are GVs. We'll see!

The roof is a prime location for a very expensive bar or restaurant with fireworks view. We might see something very fancy.

I hope so. I guess my family is weird because we unironically enjoy Ohana, but it would be great to have a real signature without having to go to another resort.

All the overpriced drinks will come in your choice of souvenir Tiki cups.
All of the previous style Tiki cups will be available.
