My sis and I may do this. But DH gets to buy copies of his comic to sell at a possible but not confirmed April Comic-Con if I do. $79 seems like a lot to me. Haha!

I have done the WOC traditional FP's many many times. To get a spot for short people and kids, it required an extremely early line up. It eats up so much park time.
Then there was the mad dash to get a front row for best viewing. The worst part is the squish of others as the show nears.
It's surprising how rude people can get, when they come later and expect the best view.

I love the dessert party! The location viewing is prefect and to be able to sit for the show.... Ahhhhhhh.....

Yes it is expensive. I will only spring for 3 people to go. If there are more than 3 in my travel group then it's the traditions FP's to see the show.

If WOC dessert Party is in a persons DLR budget I highly recommend booking.

I’ve done it the last 2 years and plan to book it again this year. I love the WOC dessert party!! It’s the best way to watch WOC. It’s expensive but it’s so nice to be able to relax in a chair with your treats and not have to battle the crowds.

I've done it both ways. I will never go back to the old way: stand in line for ages, mad rush, then sit on the concrete for ages, then stand up for the show and have somebody rude shove past you to the railing. Hang the cost, the dessert party is the way to go!

It's great! Make sure you get a high top table in the front row for when the inevitable kid goes on the parents shoulder down in the FP area.

It’s switching to paint night so I want to go while it’s woc.
What??

I thought PTN was a parade..

I like the WOC dessert party so much....
I rather fight shoppers at the stores on Black Friday than go to WOC with a traditions FP...

But I'm old and only getting older...

Someone just made a post that they saw on the dL site to book. Then it disappeared. Starting in April.

Thanks for this thread! It's perfect right while I was on the fence about doing the party or not. We have a 7 and 4 year old and I would rather not spend forever waiting around. Much easier to distract them with treats

The dessert party was really worth it. Perfect views, no shoulder kid blocking your view. Desserts were yummy. And being able to sit, priceless!
