Poll - Who goes to Disney 2 times / year ?

even before DVC we do 3 weeks at the Mouse's house.... This is the 1st year with DVC so we'll see what happens... so far we are DVC bound for April and Sept.. and a mini trip in July and Dec...

We've been going twice a year for the past 3 years. We're going to have to take a break for the next two years (only once a year--- in the summer), due to my school schedule (I'm starting nursing school)--- we are going to stay for 2 weeks though, so it'll be ok.

We usually spend a week at WDW and a week at HHI, then a bunch of days every few months at WDW using our points.

Hi neighbor... same thing with dsis... but she is the only one having a change of schedule .. she starts nursing school this Sept. Which means she stays am still going :lmao:

This year we are going to WDW for 9 days in May, 4 days in July, 5 days in September, and 14 days in December= 32 days total. We make good use of our annual passes.;)

I knew there was another reason not to like you in addition to animal cruelty, Cruella! :rotfl2:

Oh, I am so jealous....32 days....I can only dream of that many. We get about half that now in three 5 or 6 day trips.

We managed to squeeze in a total of 16 nights (three trips) last year and this year we have 20 (four trips) on the books...

We will be using our DVC for 31 nights this year, last year it was 35 nights.

We decided to cut back a bit.:)

I typically go for a week at spring break, then at least 3 trips of 2-4 days, so I think I fit the question.

The year, not counting day trips I've got:

3/18-24 Spring break (BWVs)
6/4-8 With old friends (OKW)
7/8-13 Tent camping at Ft. Wilderness (non-DVC)
8/31-9/3 Free dining at POFQ (non-DVC)
10/11-13 Food and Wine Festival (OKW)
December tbd but at DVC

Got to love living an hour away!

ideally, try for 3 7 or 8 day trips on an AP:banana: ...although the idea of a 2 week trip is heavenly (and would save on airfare:idea: )

popcorn:: With DVC getting a more of a presence in DL; wouldn't it be nice to have a combo AP? DL does currently accept MYW PH tix for admission media.

We vacationed at WDW in February of this year for the first time. Having never been there, we assumed that this was our one big Disney trip while the kids were young. Of course we got hooked! We have just put a contract on 150 OKW points. We are hoping to spend about a week every October near my daughter's birthday and a week in February near my son's birthday. We will really have to stretch out points to make it work, but that is the plan.

Last year 3 trips for 31 days. This year 4 trips 28 day...so far:rolleyes1 and we are leaving tomorrow for the world!!!

Twice a year for us! It seems too long between those trips and DH is looking at us going for 3 times a year now for 10 days each time!

The airfare is why we don't go more often & our trips are longer in length. Unless I am also going for at least a two week trip I can't imagine being there for just 5 or 6 days. I wish we could get better airfare out of Oklahoma so we could go more frequently. Unfortunately it costs us at least $1000 just for travel expenses driving or flying.

I have always wanted a combo DL/WDW AP. I have mentioned it in a couple of threads but never get much response from anyone else thinking it is a good idea. I'm glad to see you think so too. Great minds think alike!

I love to go to DL but because we have WDW AP's we don't ever make it to DL. I just can't see paying for park tickets when I already have them. I do miss my Indy ride though, wish they would put one in at WDW somewhere.

We used to, but alas, became Disney'd out. I know, heresy! We do one trip a year now and then we pick some other destination that holds some interest. We do miss Disney while we're "cheating" though!

In the same year I've been 2 times but within a year it will be 3. I bought AP's for me and my boys last August to use in August and December. Now we are going back in August on a trip I just planned so we can use our AP's before they expire. Figured I only had to pay for air and food so why not. DH didn't go last August and isn't going this August. Once a year is plenty for him.

I went twice last year one week in febuary and two in August. This year we are only coming the once for 3 weeks in July/August. We go on many other trips as well, last year I visited Amsterdam, Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia. This year I have been skiing in France, Switzerland and a 3 day short break in Norway. I just booked a week for myself and DW in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt for end of October/ start of November and I am presently looking at the possibility of going to either Russia or Turkey for a week maybe the week before we come back to Orlando.:)

Oh just forgot I also had a trip to Hungary last year as well, Budapest was really nice.:)

Wow! Sounds like European employers really do offer much better vacation packages than we get here in the colonies. I imagine work is a pleasant diversion from all of that vacationing. I am definitely envious.
