I voted other - DH and I were talking today about this very subject.

Disney makes it so easy for families to enjoy just being together.

They make it easy to pay for, where else can you have "lay-away" payment plans for your vacation? They provide a clean, safe environment with constant forms of entertainment. They handle all your transportation and make getting there a breeze. They offer a huge variety of resorts and restaurants to please just about any family. They also make our beds and change the toilet paper daily and I honestly think they very much care that we have a wonderful experience.

It's the ambience of the whole place - The music playing in the background, people-watching, the smells etc.. Just the magical stimulation of the senses..

All the magic in the parks, and being away from work for 15 days. I have been working 7 day weeks with only 2 day off for the last 6 months and am going to enjoy not working!

I voted "a particular park" because I'd say I'm looking forward to going to the Magic Kingdom the most, but it really is hands down, that feeling I get when I'm there.

I could be in the bathroom at POR or riding Splash Mountain and I still get that giddy "I'm at Disney!" magical feeling. It really is hard to explain exactly what it is unless you're a true Disney fan.

The fact that I'm getting off work isn't bad either. I've been working 50-60 hour weeks nonstop since I started my new job- a break is going to be wonderful!

We are leaving soon and the one thing I am really looking forward to is MNSSHP. It will be a first for us so we are really looking forward to that.


Other than that, the whole Disney experience makes me look forwar to going back again. Especially being with my family. The last 2 vacations were taken without them so it seems we haven't been together on a Disney vacation in a lonnnng time.

Walking in MK and seeing the castle. I always get chills and get a little emotional. MK has this feeling about it that at that moment when I see the castle I'm allowed to be a kid and leave all my stress behind.

I just love having all three of my kids together at one time. No cell phones, not boyfriends calling all the time, no computer, no homework, no ballgames, no practices, no sleepovers, no playstation....... Nothing but fun as a family. I can't wait.

I voted "other". For me, it is usually the rides - both the thrill AND the details that Disney goes into - far beyond any other park. The theming just amazes me, and the submersion into the theme.

But for this trip - I'm most looking forward to watching my kids experience the magic for the very first time. I'll be more focused on my camera (I don't think I even brought a camera my last couple of trips), and trying to capture my kids face as they first go through each new experience. Their joy is what I'm most looking forward to this time.

I voted for the rides...Fantasyland was what I was thinking about because of the age of our kids. But there is much more than that. I love leaving the stress of our lives at home and just hanging out with the family where the biggest decision we make is what to eat for dinner! Love it!
