I probably should vote for SSR as it's my home resort but I stayed at OKW last year and fell in love with the place.

I have only stayed at OKW 3 times, AKV once (Jambo) and BWV 3 times.

BWV is where I would add points, but I would stay at any resort. I value the ability to book boardwalk view or standard view at 11 months as I routinely book on the first possible day.

I thought it was just the boardwalk view, but I also enjoyed the well located standard view BWV room.

So it must be the ambiance first, view second.

AKV. . . did not like the room or the uncomfortable bed, it was too dark for DH to work on the computer in the room. . . really we had to completely rearrange the room to get enough light in the vicinity of the computer.

I would stay at AKV again but I am not sure DH would.

OKW is very relaxing, and I love the look of VWL but have only stayed at the WL.

Hey all, As the starter of this poll, again, I'm surprised to see there are already over 150 votes! :thumbsup2 As someone said, I am surprised that BLT isnt coming in with as many votes as I would have thought, but its still a small representative sample.

I've been holding out on you all. I will say now that a contract was just presented to Disney for 250 BCV points with 250 banked points for $83PP through TTS. I am so hoping it will pass ROFR. If not, I am convinced I will try again on another contract. :mickeyjum

One thing I am convinced about based on this poll, is that I probably couldnt go wrong with any DVC contract.

If I could I would have checked both BWV & BLT. We own at both & love both so much we have already booked our 3rd split stay. We just can't see going to Disney w/out stay at both resorts.

:tinker:Pixie dust on your contract passing ROFR pixiedust:

That's a really hard question. We have been to all onsite DVCs except BLT and AKV Jambo, (but we have stayed at the lodge prior to DVC).

Room wise and for theme, I loved Kidani. I was blown away by the size of the rooms, the decor, and that extra bathroom. I also love the feel of the hotel, and seeing giraffes walk by my room. The pool was also a lot of fun. All that being said, I don't like having to bus to every park.

I voted for BWV since I love the location and the boardwalk activities even though I like the theme and rooms at AKV better. The pool is ok, but the location can't be beat. I also like the room sizes and the theme. BCV would be close second, but we didn't love SAB since we have small kids, and keeping track of them there is tough. When they get older and are better swimmers, we may try to get in there more.

I also love OKW, VWL and SSR but would choose those last if given the choice. Any of them would be a great place to get stuck at. We love them all.

Considering the varying member numbers (resort sizes), a poll, even for fun, is really misleading because statistics will suggest larger resorts will naturally carry a larger vote volume. You'd need to factor in size to come up with a statistical representation (discount or handicap).

I may be biased, but I have to go with my home resort - AKV! I've stayed at every resort so far except for BLT. I have to say that nothing beats being able to sit on my balcony and watch the animals. I am such a huge animal lover (which has something to do with why I bought there!) so it's no surprise that it's my favorite resort. Also, the slide at Kidani is the best!

Totally understand, JLewisinsyr, that's why I said for Fun. Not looking to mislead anyone. I'm not looking at this as a sceintific survey, just a chance for those who want to participate, and voice their opinion. And surprisingly, some of the smaller resorts are faring better than I thought.

We're not even DVC owners, and we love BCV. Falling out your room and practically landing in World Showcase is always a plus. Additionally, our first room looked out towards Epcot complete with views of the tops of Canada, JIYI, Spaceship Earth, and Illuminations which was fantastic. I also love the nearby restaurants at YC/BC, BW, and Epcot.

Great Point! The first time we stayed on Disney was 2 years ago, at WL, and now we will never stay offsite again. No more waiting at the tolls, waiting for the trams, forgetting where you parked your car....It will be great to be able to walk to Epcot, even if it is a park hopper dinner. A great variety of restaurants to choose from!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! For us, Hands Down, BWV....Right in the middle of EPCOT and DHS, Great Resturants and shops on the Boardwalk and with all the other Resorts in the immediate area your dining options are multiplied many times with minimal travel. Shawnpirate:
