POLL: Towels at Water Parks

What is your favorite/most convenient way of having towels at the water parks?

  • Pack towels from home & bring in suitcase

  • We drive, so we throw towels in the trunk before leaving

  • Use towels from our hotel

  • Rent a towel for $1 at the water park

  • Who needs a towel? The sun will dry me off!

We have allergy issues with some laundry products, so we don't rent. We use Disney transportation, so we just toss them in a backpack.

We always bring our beach towels on vacation anyhow. Even to the hotel pool.

We bring our huge Disney character towels to the water parks and drape them over the back of our seats. That's the only way I can find my way back to my sitting spot!!!

We usually bring our beach towels from home too! This past July, we (I) forgot to pack them and didn't realize it til we were about 300 miles from home. No turning back now!!

Anyway, we stopped at Walmart and bought some large bath towels for only $2.37 each!!! It worked out perfect, and it was cheaper than buying a new beach towel for each of us!!

I have to buy new beach towels whenever we go on vacation for a souveneir (?), so I either pack them in the backpack or buy them in the waterpark.

We usually bring one each from home- a nice big soft Disney towel. The ones you can rent for $1 from BB or TL are o.k., but they are kinda small and scratchy b/c i'm sure they have to use bleach to clean them. -Stephanie

we never sit at the waterparks, we rent the towels, when we arrive, just get a big locker for our clothes and towels, then go play, swim, ride the rides etc, have lunch, go and swim again, then change and leave, that way all we have to carry around is the wet suits. We always take Disney transportation, so we don't want to lug the towels if we decide to go elsewhere before going back to the room

I either buy a towel at the park or bring one from home. They are really useful when packing your breakable souveniers!

We usually do not sit and lounge at the waterparks. We hit all the slides/rides and rent towels at the end for drying up before changing into regular clothes.

We bring beach towels from home. We drive down and the kids use the towels as blankets in the car.

I find that people will steal/borrow your chairs at the pool or water park if you have a WDW towel but if you have your own that they tend to leave it alone.
